Generations for Peace The Vision of the Palestinian Generations for Peace Association: The Palestinian Generations for Peace Association aims to build a successful Palestinian community characterized by peace and sustainable development. This vision is pursued through fostering joint civil society work, developing youth capacities, providing protection for children affected by armed conflicts, empowering women, promoting tolerance, and equipping children with skills to help them steer away from conflict environments. This vision is reflected in the Association's efforts to enhance interaction with local and international institutions, develop community capacities, establish protective frameworks for children, form committees for women’s empowerment, and provide alternative skills to children to promote peace and stability in the Palestinian community. Our Vision: The Palestinian Generations for Peace Association strives to build a sustainable Palestinian society where peace prevails by: • Enhancing Joint Civil Society Work: We aim to develop cooperative work between institutions and individuals to achieve common community goals. • Developing Youth Capacities: We focus on building the skills of youth and empowering them through training programs and interactions with local and international institutions. • Protecting Children: We work on developing protective frameworks for children affected by armed conflicts to ensure a better future for them. • Empowering Women: We seek to form women’s committees to enable women to participate effectively in society and resolve conflicts through peaceful means. • Providing Alternative Skills for Children: We offer children alternative skills to help them move away from conflict environments and engage in constructive activities. We aspire to establish tolerance and coexistence within the Palestinian community and to enhance development and peace through our diverse and ongoing efforts.

Mohammad Al-Baw

Media Manager and Programs Coordinator

He was injured in the first intifada, and the occupation soldiers killed his brother in the second, He studied in Jerusalem and holds a diploma in design and media, joined the association 10 years ago, based on his belief in spreading the suffering that his people are experiencing under occupation around the world and his work part of the Palestinian national struggle.

Salam Tayseer

Office Manager

She studied English language and literature and worked in the tourism and education sector because of her complete belief in our rights as a Palestinian people suffering under occupation, she joined the Generations for Peace association hoping that the rightful Palestinian voice would reach the whole world.

Mahmoud Al Qerm

Financial Manager

He studied accounting at Bethlehem University, worked at many jobs in Palestine, married with three children, and wished for them a prosperous future.

Mohammad Abu Jaffar

He is the manager of the youth summer camp. Member of the association since 2016 and Project manager of summer camp continuation

Aseel Ahmad

Manager of the Youth and Women's Program

Graduate from Sociology, Social Service Branch, and because of her full belief that the voice of truth is the strongest and in the importance of conveying the message of the Palestinian people and their suffering under occupation She joined the Generations for Peace association, which allows her to communicate with different local and international communities

Maha Salah

the association’s southern members’

Responsible for the association’s southern members’, she studied Arabic language literature also, she holds a diploma in journalism and media now she working in the field of education and joined the Generations for Peace Association out of a desire to contribute to spreading the suffering of the Palestinian people under occupation and the belief in the importance of achieving peace so that we can live in lasting security, peace, and stability.

Yacob AlRabbi

The first and second decades of my life had a difficult childhood in a simple family. The third and fourth decades are the age of youth and the age of hope, big imprisonment, and intifada. The fifth decade is loss and pain. And because of hope, I joined the Generations for Peace association.

Mustafa Halaiqah

Programs Manager

He studied architecture, married, and has three children. Worked on projects in developing capabilities, planning, and improving services through non-profit institutions. Now works as a program manager at Generations for Peace Association.

Bassam Aramin

Spokesperson and International relations

Lives in anata in the West Bank. At the age of 17, he was incarcerated and spent 7 years in an Israeli jail. He went on to study history and holds an MA in solve conflict and peace studies in England. He became a member of the Generations for Peace Association in 2007 after losing his 10-year-old daughter Abir, who was killed by an Israeli occupation soldiers.

Nadine Quomsieh

CEO

Nadine Quomsieh, from Bethlehem, Palestine Leads as CEO of the Parents Circle Families Forum and Generations for Peace Association. She champions empathy and healing among bereaved families and is a fierce advocate for Palestinian women and their rights, and ending the occupation. As a mother of three, she is dedicated to building a future of justice and peace. Nadine's roles as a POSH officer, Keeping the Children Safe officer, highlight her relentless dedication to healing, understanding and transformative change, and lasting peace.
