Palestinian Generations for Peace Association Plants Hope in Bardala

In the village of Bardala, in the northern Jordan Valley – which, like other villages in the area, suffers from daily assaults and terror by the Israeli army and settlers – we chose to plant a spark of hope for its children. The Generations for Peace Association renovated the village kindergarten, equipped it with new facilities and games, and today we reopened it with a small celebration and a joyful day full of activities with the children. During our visit, we also listened to the daily hardships that residents endure under the occupation and settlers. We believe that confronting violence begins with building life, and that bringing smiles to children’s faces is a form of human resistance. Together, we continue to choose the path of hope over despair, and the path of life over death.
