Generations For Peace Association visits the village of Umm al-Kheir
A delegation from Generations for Peace visited the village of Umm al-Khair in Masafer Yatta, one of the Palestinian villages threatened with demolition and displacement, which is constantly subjected to violations by the army and settlers, including house demolitions and land confiscation. During the visit, we listened to painful testimonies from residents and activists about the daily suffering, and we provided food parcels as a symbolic contribution to help ease the difficult conditions. We also planted olive trees near threatened lands, as a joint message of solidarity that reflects a commitment to life and justice, and to supporting the steadfastness of Palestinian families in the face of ongoing oppression and injustice.
